Ubud can be overwhelming if you're visiting for just a day. After spending lots of time exploring this bustling Balinese town, I've put together a walkable route that takes in some of my favourite spots. Starting at the Monkey Forest, this guide follows a logical path through town, showing you where to grab great coffee, find authentic local art and enjoy some excellent food along the way. I'll take you from the touristy centre up into the quieter Penestanan area and share some practical tips about timing and what to expect.
