Lately I've been doing to much crossovers, and I decided to make a "only about Oncie" video, because I don't do one of these since a looong ago! Okay, I have a feeling that, just because the song I used it's kinda "old" (in fact, I consider this a timeless song), this video won't even get 100 views O.o But I don't care I'm uploading this anyway. There are a lots of songs talking about this theme, and some of them (like "I really wanna love somebody" by Maroon 5 and also "Gotta be somebody" by Nickelback) were already used in other Oncie AMVs. I also like those songs, but I gotta admit, from the ones I've heard talking about this desire to be wanted and loved, this one by Queen is for sure, the most powerful of them all, both in matter of lyrics and composition. That's why I made this a simple video: I just added some dark coloration (as this is a sad song). For me, when I edit with these types of songs, the most important thing is fitting the clips with the lyrics, showing the right facial expressions to each moment, and this fits Oncie sooooo well that it wasn't very dificult for me to choose the right scenes for each lyric (I know each clip of him by heart, btw, so I can easily build the video inside my mind in order to turn it real XD) I totally imagine Once-Ler singing this specially after his business went down and he got all alone on his house, or in any time of his life, I mean, I totally believe that, even though he acts all happy, and seems to doesn't be bothered by being all alone in the middle of the forest, deep inside he felt kinda empty and he estabilished a goal for his life (creating an invention that could change everybody's life) in order to "complete" himself and kinda "forget" about all the loneliness he was living in. I bet that, even as a rich and sucessful businessman, he could, some nights, lay down in bed, realising how empty he still was even though he had achivied his goal. And that's why I think this music is soooo fitting to him. God bless you if you had all the patience in the world to read this, I'm so sorry, I always end up talking this deeply about him :') About the video: Jesus Christ, just because of the mirror scene I had to create 14 layers!!!! O.o And this video is so short and simple but it took almost 40 minutes to render and convert to the wmv format! 40 MINUTES FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! -' Also I need to work on colorations, I see so cool colorations in videos of other persons but I can't manage to create such as cool colorations as the ones from the videos I see -. Oh and there is a slightly error in one scene with a Oncie masking: it was a masking with a yellow background, so it's harder to remove, it seemed perfect on the vegas preview window, but when I rendered it, we can notice a slightly yellowish and transparent screen on it! Why sony vegas, tell me why????!!!! On the other hand, the second Oncie masking I used had a green screen and it could be easily removed. Masking credit: DellEugenio (you girl, make some of the best masks I have ever seen!!!!) Oh and if you don't get it: the thumbnail is like Oncie "looking" at a dream of his where he is loved and happy, but since he doesn't have to much hope on that it is kinda "blurred" and far away. Oh and tomorrow it's christmas evee ( what the hell, I don't know how to write it well xD) yeay!!!! Merry Christmas to everyone!! As always, nothing here is mine!
