In just 4 hours and 30 minutes, the Slovenian skier descended from the highest point on Earth and began his conquest of the Seven Summits through ski runs. Davo Karnicar's passion for pushing limits began years earlier with his ski descent of the Annapurna in 1995 along with his brother Andrej. This triumphant achievement in the Himalayas had a bitter aftertaste as Andrej lost a pair of phalanges during the descent. Prior to his attempts in the Himalayas, Davo improved his skills in the Alps and conquered iconic peaks such as the Eiger and the east face of the Matterhorn, which presented him with unprecedented challenges.
