Supertanskiii's Channel Birthday! Celebrating 5 Years of Rants, Rage & WTF's?!

Five years ago, I was just a woman with a dream. A dream of mercilessly roasting Tories. I was knee deep in the Covid apocalypse with no outlet, just an iphone 8 propped on my windowsill and a deep desire for Westminster to burn down. I knew something was very very wrong. So tried to articlate that the only way I could, the English way, through roasts. I started on Tiktok, then gradually expanded. In reality, I didn't even intend for any of this to happen. I just started taking the p*ss and people seemed to really like it. Then it got out of hand, big time. Multiple viral videos, five platforms, nearly a million followers. Before I even realised what was going on it was too late, so I just kinda kept going. Since then, Britain’s been through more political breakdowns than the 90s rave scene. We had five prime ministers, three unelected. We watched Boris Johnson party through a pandemic while we buried our dead. We watched Liz Truss tank the economy in forty-four days flat, outlasted by a lettuce. We’ve had Rishi Sunak flying private jets to photo ops while nurses queued at food banks. We’ve seen the rise of GB News, the far right rebranding itself as “patriots,” and the press turning cruelty into a front page ad. We’ve watched them strip workers’ rights, demonise the poor, deport the desperate, and somehow still call themselves Christians. And through all of it, somehow, we laughed, because rage is exhausting and laughter is the only thing that makes it bearable. Tonight we celebrate five years of taking the piss. Five years of swearing at hypocrisy, screaming into the void and refusing to accept the insanity quietly. We’ve built a community that’s angry, exasperated, cool and funny as hell. A little corner of the internet that reminds people they’re not alone in seeing through the bullshit. So bring a drink, comments and most insane memories. Let’s rage and reminisce whilst reminding ourselves that the times might be mad but at least we’ve got each other.
