Hope Haven was started in 2012 to serve families and youth in one of the most vulnerable areas of Rwanda. The Kugaba Initiative is a relational and investment program that allows a "Hope Angel" to sponsor a student at Hope Haven, building a relationship and providing support for the student's family. The word "Kugaba" means "to give," and this program not only gives children a chance at an excellent education, but also provides much-needed support for the entire community.
