Known for its traditional cuisine, Alcochete is famous for its narrow alleys filled with esplanades - on this walking tour, you'll see people cheering and enjoying their meals outside (and many queuing to get a table), amidst the traditional barbecues, where sardines and various other fishes are being grilled. Other typical dishes like "choco frito" (fried squid) and bacalhau can be seen on the tables, where lively conversations can be heard :) You'll also explore other areas of Alcochete, like its main church, and the riverside promenade.
