For those that have a B&S no2 surface grinder, hopefully this video is helpful for you. I’ll be honest, this is a long video and I debated publishing it or not. In the end I decided that if it helps one other person then it would be worth it. In this video I disassemble the clutch drive shaft mechanism for the automatic feature of the SG. I also walk through and disassemble some of the other components of this machine. My SG was missing some of the automatic Y axis parts, so I ended up leaving my machine as a manual only SG. You can see my SG in operation in Part 7 and the final preservation video in part 8 (coming soon) shows grinding the chuck and getting within .0005 parallelism. Thanks for you support along the way!
