During #Ramadan, community volunteers are going to lengths to ensure Muslim migrant workers quarantined in factory-converted dormitories have food for their break-fast (Iftar) and pre-dawn meals (Suhoor). With the surge in #COVID19 infections in foreign worker dormitories, those living in factory-converted dorms in particular face tough conditions of limited space and the lack of a proper logistical set-up for essentials like food delivery. That's where groups like the Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach step in, to arrange meal deliveries and check on their needs; while the Migrant Workers Centre rallied volunteers to pack hand sanitisers.
