What a beautiful morning flight around the scenic hillside of Serretinha, a small portion of the frequesia Feteira. Serretinha, Feteira, Terceira, Azores, Portugal This area is crossed by a significant alignment, which corresponds to the fracture that created the inner face of the Serra da Ribeirinha and extends out to sea as far as the "Ilhues das Cabras" (islets of Cabras), which it crosses, creating the channel that separates the two islets. The vertical movements associated with this fault explain the unevenness between the Achada plateau and the Serra da Ribeirinha and between the two Cabras islets, with the westernmost one clearly lowered.
