We saw PUFFINS! | DAY 3 Skógafoss and more!

Welcome to the third day of our 8 DAY ROAD TRIP around the Ring Road in Iceland! We started the day with sunrise at Seljalandsfoss, a beautiful waterfall right off of Þórsmörk Road 249. Next we went to the famous Skógafoss, and the lesser known waterfall next to it, Kvernufoss. After that we opted to save money and walk out to Sólheimasandur plane crash. We finished the day by making camp in the coastal town of Vik and taking a moment to relax after three very packed days in the land of fire and ice! This is our final country for our year long trip around the world. We flew in to Reykjavík from Dublin, and rented a Jeep with a pop up tent and hit the road! We will be hitting up all of the classic stops including Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, and the geothermal Lake Myvatn in the north.
