🚴♂️ The Hebridean Way – Part 1 Welcome to Part One of our bikepacking adventure along the Hebridean Way — a 185-mile cycling route (with plenty of tempting detours) through the wild and windswept Outer Hebrides of Scotland. We begin at the southern tip, on the tiny island of Vatersay. From there, the road winds north through Barra and over the sea to Eriskay, connected by the first of two ferry crossings and a scenic causeway.
