15 Years of JayShockblast From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my dreams come true. I understand this is a long video and if you watch the whole thing (or even just listen in the background, you're the real MVP. 15 years is a long time to do anything, and on August 6th, 2010, I started this channel as ShockblastMedia before eventually changing the name to JayShockblast. It has let me meet amazing people both online and in real life, have amazing experiences I never dreamed could happen and allow me to be self-employed and home to have a great home life with my wife and my dogs. When I started this channel, I was 29 years old coming of being unemployed for a year about to start what I hoped would be the last job I ever needed with Bose. Little did I know this Youtube Channel would change my life. Now I sit here two months away from turning 45 and reflect on what's next. I started this for all the right reasons. I loved the content I was making and I loved sharing it with the world. I had no dreams or asperations of getting rich off it or gain thousands of followers, but I guess I resonated with a lot of you and I am forever grateful.
