1985 Washington State University lost to the University of California, Los Angeles in this 2 hour, 21 minute color film, which includes audio. This video is made from one VHS tape that includes Cougar Network commentary and shows a great battle in Pullman for WSU's Homecoming. The video features future Super Bowl champion and MVP quarterback Mark Rypien as quarterback for WSU. This game was also the game where Rueben Mayes set the WSU career rushing yardage record (a record that still stands as the most career rushing yards all-time for WSU at 3,519 yards). The final score of the game was WSU 30 UCLA 31. Digitized at the Washington State University Libraries' Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections (MASC) thanks to funding from the J.L.
