We just clear the tract, put the laser fibre inside and burn it off. So we go through the tract itself. So there won’t be any major wounds. So pain is least with laser treatment and also post operative care is also less because there are no open wounds but if you use laser cautery and laser regular surgery to open up and clear the major tracts then it will reduce the pain compared to regular surgery but some amount of pain and post operative care will be required.
