Rhododendron ponticum control using stem treatment

Stem treatment is an effective way to clear Rhodododendron ponticum in difficult situations. It works on all sizes of bushes and allows you to kill the bush and then either leave on site as standing deadwood or clear at a later date. It has the advantage of using small amounts of herbicide to acheive full kill, and therefore limits damaging to neighbouring plants and it means less chemical in the environment.
