September’s Spotlight features David Macias discussing Oklahoma’s presence in today’s music industry. As President of Nashville’s Thirty Tigers Entertainment Company, Macias is instrumental in promoting some of Americana’s biggest acts to a national audience. After starting the label in 2002, Macias’ team has molded the company into an industry stronghold, having worked with well-known Oklahomans including Ray Wylie Hubbard, Samantha Crain, Parker Millsap, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Turnpike Troubadours, John Moreland, John Fullbright and Wanda Jackson.
