Hajj Check list 1. Necessary Medication -- separate in multiple bags 2. Pain reliever (Tylenol) 3. Cough drops / Chewable vitamin C 4. Petroleum jelly (Vaseline) -- apply all times 5. Deodorant unscented (Toms of Maine) 6. Unscented soap (Nabulsi soap- found in middle eastern stores) 7. Miswak -- easily found in Mecca 8. Extra Ihram -- 9. A Plan for you ibadah 10. Socks 11. Waist pouch / money belt 12. Slippers (invest in a good quality -- crocks are good from experience) 13. Comfortable walking shoes -- there will be a lot of walking 14. Sunglasses 15. Light backpack or shoe bags (available from travel agent or pickup for free at Jeddah airport) 16. Umbrella (pickup for free at Jeddah airport) 17. Calling SIM cards -- provided from travel agent -- but most likely it's not active -- so buy when you reach Jeddah airport 18. Unlocked GSM phone with international adapters (for each member of your family) - this can be used as digital Quran and mp3 player for audio duas, alarm clock etc, make sure you got the headphones as well 19. Sleeping bag 20. Duaa list 21. Photocopies of passports and documents 22. Marriage certificate / immunization records / Passports and all necessary documents 23. Toilet paper just in case 24. 3 Zip bags for jamarat 25. Extra clothes (underwear and comfortable clothes) 26. Energy bars, or protein bars etc. 27. Back up money -- debit card, dont forget cost of food, qurbani is about 300 - 500 usd, and just incase you lost your airport checks you need additional 300+ per person 28. Pen / paper for directions -- etc 29. Nail clippers 30. Small scissors for women 31.
