Let's dive in. The fourth episode covers the Toxic Rain Ballista Pathfinder, by Palsteron. It’s a build I’ve played before; it has a 3.25 build guide on Maxroll, which we’ll talk about later, and I used it as a starter build for the necro event. This build is a league starter, it’s an easy build to understand, it’s fairly easy to gear, and you can start using toxic rain from level 12, which I think is a big advantage. It’s a one-button build, which has my preference. It uses ballistae to apply the damage which means that you’re free to dodge mechanics while your minions rain hell on your enemies. It’s not very tanky, but you have a few sockets left, so I used a cast on death portal setup. And it’s very fast, which makes it great for running maps. I reached level 95, I only completed 2 voidstones in this event, because I was focussing on maps, and in my opinion this build is primarily suitable for mapping. It’s not a great bossing build, because it lacks single target damage. Although the guide indicates otherwise. Again, I'll get to that.
