From the Archives 🎄 cake decorating, holiday festivities, + officially entering my youtube era

Happy 2026! The day has finally come for me to post my first YouTube video…took me long enough. I have always wanted to enter long-form content, but never mustered up the courage or set aside the time to actually do it. I meant to post this last year when this vlog actually took place, but I was being way too critical and nit-picky when it came to editing the footage, and almost ended up abandoning it altogether. But I recently came across a sticker in my excessive sticker collection that said “DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT.” And I think I need to start embracing that principle more. It’s been a while since I’ve built a creative project or pursued an endeavor entirely from scratch, so this is what I hope YouTube will be for me—a personal project that’s new, challenging, and exciting! It’s nice to work on something with no other expected outcome but to truly express yourself and to disregard the inherent instant gratification we’re so accustomed to from posting on social media. So even though holiday season is well over (and I still need to put away my Christmas tree), I hope you enjoy my first official YouTube video :D I can’t wait to see what else 2026 has in store for us.
