Did you know there's Damango and Damanko? Well, they are two different places, one in the Oti Region and the other in the Savannah Region all in Ghana. Today's video is a full view of the bridge that connects the Oti region with the Northern region The bridge marks the boundary between Oti Region and the Northern Region. Crossing the River Oti between Damanko in the Oti Region and Opejua in the Northern Region, Damanko Bridge (or Oti River Bridge) was built in 1994-5 by the British construction company Mabey & Johnson, and opened by President Jerry Rawlings on 29 January 1996. It is a trussed beam bridge with 5 spans having a total length of 290 m.
