Watch to the end to get some motivation! I got to climb some rocks in Colorado National Monument! Right outside Grand Junction, Colorado you can hike Devil's Kitchen Trail. I started out on the trail, but definitely got lost along the way. Much of the trail network started out as a road in the early 1900's. The grade was so steep, however, that early cars (lacking fuel pumps) had to back up the hills to keep running! In the 1960's the road was converted into a trail and the No Thoroughfare Canyon started becoming the popular hiking destination it is today.
