Trump says he will lower tariffs on goods with India after reaching a trade deal

U.S. President Donald Trump said he has agreed on a trade deal with India, lowering U.S. tariffs on Indian goods to 18 per cent from 50 per cent. In exchange, India is expected to loosen trade barriers, stopping its purchases of Russian oil and instead buying oil from the U.S. and potentially Venezuela.
