The history behind this church is a bit of a mystery but common belief says a mad monk made all the decorations/piles from human remains during the era of the black death in Europe, but also from wars and a bit more recent times. Having never seen human remains ever before in 33 years, it was a bit bewildering for that first time to involve thousands! As mad as that monk was, some of the pieces did look quite cool!
