Today my Triumph Scrambler 400 X motorcycle gets an upgrade from it's standard 14 tooth front sprocket to a 15 tooth sprocket from JT Sprockets, and I show the entire process, including lubing the chain after the sprocket is changed. I also did some baseline testing to see how much of a difference the change made. CORRECTIONS & TIPS FROM COMMENTS -Torque spec for front sprocket is 146nm or 108ft-lb -Torque spec for rear axle is 98nm or 72ft-lb -If the rear tire is spinning while trying to loosen or tighten the sprocket nut, put your foot on the rear break to keep it from spinning.
