Hey guys, today I will be making silky egg with beef! It is a very common dish in Cantonese cuisine 😋😋 I hope you guys will enjoy the video today. Thank you 😊 Ingredients: 1 piece of steak (approx.1 lb) 6 eggs 1 onion 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp sugar 1tsp white pepper 2 tbsp cornstarch 2 tbsp water Oil 2 tbsp chopped garlic 1 tsp salt & 3 green onion Directions: 1. Freeze the steak in the freezer for 20 minute for easier cutting 2. Cut and divide the steak into 4 pieces 3. Trim off the fat if you want to 4. Slice the steak against the grain for tender meat texture 5. Put soy sauce, sugar, white pepper, and mix well together 6. Add cornstarch, water and mix well 7. Add the garlic and 2 tbsp of oil, mix well together. Set aside 8. Cut onion into slices 9. Crack and shuck the eggs 10. Add 1 tsp of salt to eggs 11. Chop the green onions 12. Stir fry onion slices in high heat for 1 min. and put on a plate 13. Stir fry the beef in high heat until cooked 14. Put the cooked beef into the eggs, onions slices, and green onions 15. Heat up the pan on high heat, pour eggs and beef mixture and turn down the heat to medium, so the eggs won’t get over cooked 16.
