Federal Bank Share: Federal Bank announced today, October 24th, that it is selling a 9.99% stake to an affiliate of Blackstone, a major US investment firm. The total deal is worth ₹6,196.5 crore. This stake will be sold through special equity shares and warrants.Federal Bank will issue approximately 270 million warrants to Blackstone, priced at ₹227 per warrant. Under the deal, Blackstone will only have to pay 25% of the money upfront when purchasing the warrants, and the remaining 75% when converting them into shares.
