Rhythm Play Along: Level 1 (quarter note, quarter rests, eighth notes)

How I use this video in my elementary classroom: Set up 4-5 instrument "stations" at the front of the room facing the screen. Sometimes I use all drums, other times each station is a different instrument--sticks, hand drums, triangle, etc. Have students line up behind each instrument with 3-5 kids in each line. The first kid in line at each station performs the rhythm 4 times them moves to the back of their same line. Continue rotating until the end of the video. If using different instruments, have kids move to the next station at the end.
