Work with me personally here https://bit.ly/forehandmasterclass Alright guys, I'm taking you through the two main differences between the flat serve, the kick serve and the slice serve. It's not too complicated, and if you get this right, you'll be able to hit a flat serve a kick serve and a slice serve. Please understand that the two biggest differences are the contact point and the ball toss. The rest of the serve biomechanics will all stay the same. It is just the contact point of the serve and the ball toss of the serve that will need to change between the three serves. You want to keep the ball toss more or less the same between the three serves so that your opponent wont be able to see a big difference however, there is still a slight difference. Please understand that on the flat serve, you have to open up your racket at the end so the strings can be flat, head on to the ball and on the kick serve, you will have to contact the ball on the left side of the ball and brush over and up to the right side of the ball. On this slice serve you will have to contact the ball on the right side of the ball and brush through the ball to the left. In this video I also give you two exercises to help you hit the back fence and to open up the the face of the racket little bit if you can serve the back fence with a continental grip. That means you're able to hit the serve flat. On the slice serve, I'll give you an exercise for you to slice the ball into the left side fence if you can hit the left side fence with slice you are able to slice the serve.
