If a flower blooms and has no audience to witness the spectacle of that moment, whatever brilliance or beauty that moment holds is forever lost. Like flowers young ones bloom and excel in every aspect of life of late, from tech, to finance or just out rightly disrupting conventions that are obsolete to reveal new dynamic accelerated ways to get things done in a faster and more efficient manner, to achieve results. But with change comes resistance, by oligarchs of the current dominant order, who fight against such change, in fear of relinquishing their hold on the existing (obsolete) system, which they control to their collective pleasure. This is the very scenario the video of Nkan's social commentary inspired song "Revolution" captures in graphic detail. The video was rendered in 3D animation, in order to illustrate & graphically highlight the restive state of the Nigerian society from a social, security & economic standpoint, while capturing the peaking pulse of her citizens. "Revolution" is not a song of gloom & doom, to the contrary, rather it is a song that endears hope and stirs purpose within the listener, a call to act and seize the moment and observe with great intent, as the hour of the cycle of a new "bloom" inches ever closer.
