Prof Gaddam Lakshman Exclusive Interview on Gade Innaiah Arrest | NIA | Journalist Rana | G8 News 📰 What Happened Gade Innaiah (also spelled Gade Inna Reddy), a 64-year-old activist and former Maoist, was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on 21 December 2025 in Jangaon district, Telangana. 📍 Reason for Arrest The NIA alleges that Innaiah made remarks supporting the banned Maoist (CPI-Maoist) organisation during a public gathering, including at the funeral of a deceased Maoist leader. Officials say his speech encouraged support for the outlawed group, incited unlawful activity, and motivated people to continue an armed revolution. 🧑⚖️ Legal Actions & Charges He was booked under: Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), including Sections 13 and 39; and Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) (acts endangering the unity and integrity of India).
