2nd Swing staff writer Drew Mahowald has been playing the #PING G30 LST driver for a few years now. He generates tremendous clubhead and ball speed, but he can also struggle with dispersion, especially a high-right miss, and center-face contact when he’s a little off with his swing. With the #G30 LST being several years old at this point, Mahowald and 2nd Swing master fitter Thomas Campbell wanted to see if the PING #G410 LST would prove to be a significant upgrade over the G30 LST, so they tested both using the same shaft and Trackman 4 technology to see what the numbers revealed.
