The KTM X-BOW is KTM’s first sports car, unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. Named “Crossbow” for its weapon-like appearance, it is a street-legal, minimalist two-seater with no doors, windows or unnecessary features. Designed by Kiska with a carbon monocoque chassis developed alongside Dallara, the X-BOW uses a mid-engine layout and push-rod double wishbone suspension front and rear, giving it true race-car DNA. Its flat floor and large rear diffuser generate 200 kg of downforce at 200 km/h, allowing up to 1.5 G cornering forces. Powered by an Audi 2.0L turbocharged engine, the standard model produces 236 BHP, weighs 790 kg and reaches 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The higher-performance X-BOW R boosts output to 295 BHP with upgraded suspension, delivering track-ready performance that rivals supercars even in stock form. The Suzuki Vision Gran Turismo Gr.3 is a race-spec evolution of Suzuki’s lightweight VGT concept, built to showcase the brand’s motorsport philosophy and tuned to Gr.3 regulations. Unlike the hybrid AWD base model, the Gr.3 version uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout powered by a twin-turbo V8 created by combining two Hayabusa four-cylinder engines into a 2.68-liter unit, producing 577.9 HP at 10,000 rpm. Its aerodynamics are heavily upgraded with a larger front splitter, rear wing, hood ducting and front and rear diffusers, while extensive carbon fiber construction keeps weight low. The car wears a striking livery in Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Mystic Silver, reflecting Suzuki’s motorcycle racing heritage. What happens when you take the lightweight KTM X-BOW R and stuff it with a Suzuki VGT Gr.3 V8 engine built for full-blown GT racing?
