The first European settlers arrived in Elora in 1817 and by the 1850s Elora was a major agricultural marketplace. A lot of people take trips from Toronto to Elora. Elora is a community in the township of Centre Wellington, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. It is a small village in southern Ontario and a 90 minute drive from Toronto. It has been called Canada's Most Beautiful Village. It is well known for its 19th-century limestone architecture and the geographically significant Elora Gorge.
