ITU World Triathlon Series London 2014
The third round of the ITU World Triathlon Series took place in Hyde Park, London, over the weekend and Chain Reaction Cycles were proud to sponsor another world class triathlon event. Saturday saw the elite men's and women's races taking centre stage, while the amateurs battled it out on Sunday. Thousands of race fans turned out to soak up the atmosphere, check out the trade stands and make as much noise for the best triathletes in the world, with many of the loudest cheers reserved for home favourites including Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, Jodie Stimpson and Helen Jenkins. A home victory wasn't meant to be though as Spain's Mario Mola took first place in the elite men's race ahead of South Africa's Richard Murray and Portugal's Joao Pereira. Alistair and Jonny took fourth and fifth place, respectively.
