Note at timestamp 3:15: We incorrectly state that the power going to the new fuse for the dash cam or battery pack will also flow through the original fuse for the vehicle's existing circuit in series. This is only true if the fuse tap is inserted incorrectly, with the leg labelled "12 Volts" in the diagram opposite to the powered side of the fuse slot (identified through testing each side of the fuse slot with the fuse/fuse tap removed), and is harmful as it could damage both the new and original circuits. If the fuse tap is inserted correctly, with the leg labelled "12 Volts" corresponding to the powered side of the fuse slot, power should only flow to each individual fuse in parallel. Note at timestamp 4:22: The video incorrectly shows the new fuse being plugged into position 2 on the fuse tap, closest to the metal legs. When tapping into empty fuse slots, the new fuse should go into position 1 as stated in the audio, furthest away from the metal legs. Position 2 should only be used for the vehicle's original fuse if tapping into an already-occupied slot.
