After replacing the timing belt and water pump, clutch & flywheel, ball joints, driveshafts, re-upholstering the roof lining, putting a full set of drilled and grooved discs on, refurbing the wheels and all of the other bits I've done to the car, it finally came time to say goodbye to the golf. The car sold very quickly despite the high mileage due to the service history, condition and upkeep of the car in general! On the same day it sold, the brand new timing belt tensioner failed/exploded causing the engine to lose its timing and become unable to start. Continue watching to find out the fate of the mk5 golf!
