The Friendship's That Are Broken - Brandon DuBritton

As we travel on the path that is life, we encounter many people. Most will fade from memory relatively quickly, however a select few will leave a lasting impression on our lives, some more than others. These invdividuals stand out to us for many reasons. This can be the way they talk or the way they dress. But this can also be for the comfort they provide us or the similarities we share with them. These invdividuals are the ones we call our friends. They walk with us, on our journey, stopping to pick us up when we fall. At times, the path will be interrupted, whether that be the result of a fallen tree or another hazard. Our friends are there to help us overcome these obstacles, lending us their strength and support, and this is what allowes us to grow closer to them. Alas, the path we walk on will split at times, and some may choose it is time to their seperate way. When this happens, we may feel sad, angry, disgusted. but regardless, we move on. The experience teaches us valuable lessons, one's that will help us further down the path. But as we continue walking, we realize that the memories of that person continue to walk with us. So while friendships may be broken, the memories we made while walking that path together will always remain a part of who we are.
