2018 The Year of Changes

2018 was an exciting year of transformation at Almoosa Specialist Hospital after 22 years of growth, stability, and service – fulfilling the vision of Sheikh Abdulaziz Almoosa in 1996. Few would recognize that hospital that began as a Women & Children’s Hospital of 30 beds and over the last two decades rose to a tertiary care hospital of 240 beds, with advanced technology, international accreditations, and 2,300 employees. 2018 marked a turning point in Sheikh Abdulaziz’s vision. Almoosa Specialist Hospital entered a New Era established by a new Vision created by, not only Sheikh Abdulaziz, but also the next generation of the Almoosa family, independent members of a new Board of Governors, leaders from all levels of our Hospital, and all our Caregivers. Perhaps most important was the contribution of our patients, who insist that our future be built on trust.
