Showing you how I cut my own hair for Vintage hairdos from home :) *Disclaimer*: Note that I have naturally curly hair and I mostly wear it in curls, so if I do make mistakes (and I do because I am not a professional), they are not as noticeable. If you have straight hair, please be wary. Some do not recommend you cut your own hair if you wear it straight. Farah does though and it looks great so… idk. If you are new, I recommend not going too dramatic in terms of length the first time, taking your time and cut in small sections. This is my take on the vintage long length haircut which is basically the long version of the midi haircut. Not at all the “appropriate” or “traditional” way of doing things, but it works for me and I love how it looks on me :) In the first part I show your how I cut my layers for long flowy cascading curls, and in the second half I show you how I shape it so it has that rounded “u” shape. Thought I would share my process in case anyone is curious ❤️My inspirations are Rita Hayworth and Jeanne Crain!
