An on air test of a radio that is completely new to me. Elecraft K2 with matching Elecraft KAT100

A new one for me, the K2 Elecraft with 100w PA and matching KAT100 Auto antenna tuner. I have had a koad of K3 units before so this is an interesting step, possibly qyute a way backwards on first testing. I definitely need some face time in front of this radio as it initially appears to be in trouble in a few areas but time to read some manuals first before assuming too much. RF bar graph meter on the radio not indicating on TX definitely looks like a problem to fix but the drift on this radio seems super terrible for what is a reasonably late model design. Any one thats had experience with the K2, interested to hear from you about your findings and general comments. I think with a few things sorted out, this could be a great radio but oh boy, embarrassingly, I overpaid on this one by a mile. Enthusiasm to get different radios in for our display is sometimes needing a few more questions asked about actual working condition of a radio before just saying yes to deals. Definitely my spontaneous nature and excitement got the better of me. Life is all about learning, thats for sure.
