Muhammad Lamin Jarra, an aspiring and motivated Gambian Islamic student of knowledge appeared on AG Radio last night. He shared his personal opinions and perspectives regarding the controversial airport security fees at Banjul International Airport (BIA), the primary cause of irregular migration (backway), the lack of adequate customer care services provided by various institutions, and the pervasive corruption culture in The Gambia. According to Mr. Jarra, good character as a fundamental barrier against corruption is one antidote to unethical behaviours. "To foster a culture of accountability and transparency we must return to the teachings of Islam," he said.
