In his talk, Leofwin (Managing Director - IBM Groningen) will talk about the difference between his generation and the younger generations in the work environment. The talk will be based entirely on his own experiences working at IBM for over 20 years. The different pros, cons and challenges of managing a local department where almost the entire workforce is a younger generation than himself will be his main point of focus. Leofwin has broad experience as a business leader in an international environment. His passion is to build an organization with a focus on improved business performance and creating a professional environment. He enjoys mentoring and coaching professionals preparing them for current and future career opportunities and challenges. Leofwin is able to balance a good working environment with meeting strict financial and operational objectives. His leadership style is straightforward with a focus on building sustainable relationships and based on clear communication. He is a team player and enjoys and excels when managing change and transformation and is always looking for opportunities to improve. With his experience in sales and working with clients, he is able to translate their requirements to support and services provided by his business unit.
