BAÑOS: Casa del Árbol 🇪🇨 ECUADOR Travel Vlog Day 5

A dream came true today! Day 5 of the Ecuador Travel Vlog started in Baños town. My mom and I went for a walk while my dad slept in. We got to see the Baños sign in front of the Cathedral and walked around the local market. There’s a waterfall you can see from different parts of the town. Once we got picked up it was time to go to the Casa del Árbol! I have been wanting to go here for the longest! Cause imagine swinging from a tree overlooking a volcano, how often can you say that?! To be honest, it was a bit scary because there’s only one small belt holding you from falling and getting on and off was a bit of challenge. It is not a one person job! But it was so much fun so highly recommend (: The next stop was a lookout point where there’s a glass bottom so you can look straight down into the trees. We continued the tour going to the Pavillon del Diablo where we stopped by some waterfalls, one on the road and the other where we took a cable car out to get a better view. Some of the people chose to zipline out to it also. Next was lunch at Miramelindo which was delicious followed by the Pavillon del Diablo. Definitely a bit jarring going down cause of the floating stairway but worth it for the view. My parents and I decided to stay at Miramelindo afterwards for a massage and the spa before heading back to Baños town to grab our things and take the bus to Cuenca.
