Testing the Snugpak Stratosphere in heavy rain. The met office issued a yellow rain warning and it rained all night long. I attempted to spend the night in the snugpak hooped bivi to see if i would be comfortable and dry. I used the snugpak jungle bag and a cheap mat from amazon on top of the Thermarest Z-Lite SOL mattress. My pillow of choice was the Thermarest compressible pillow. the rain came down heavy all night with strong winds. Did i last the night? Did i keep dry and warm? The snugpak is a hooped style bivi bag with a built in mosquito net and a flysheet with a hydrostatic head of 5000mm and a ground sheet of 8000mm.
