Speaker 1: Meng-Hao Liu In recent years, as textile manufacturing has relocated to China and Southeast Asia, the hosiery industry in Shetou has become a sunset industry. Meng-Hao Liu observed that the established strength of the traditional industry, coupled with the unique factory-as-home culture in Shetou, is a story that should be amplified, seen, and truly appreciated. This realization prompted him to take action: He felt compelled to rally local youth to jointly revitalize the industry! Thus, he launched the "Sunset Festival" (literally, the "Relaxed Three-Day Festival"). The name cleverly combines the Taiwanese "Song-Sui" (meaning "relaxed" or "easy-going"), whose pronunciation also echoes the English word "Sunset," thereby referencing the current status of the Shetou hosiery industry as a sunset industry.
