La Cremà, que significa la quema, es el acto principal de la fiesta, la cremà junto a la ofrenda de flores a la virgen de los Desamparados, (patrona de Valencia), son sin duda los dos actos más emblemáticos de la fiesta. En lo que se denomina “La nit del Foc”, (la noche del fuego), o “la nit de la cremà”, (la noche de la quema), es la culminación y final de la fiesta en donde se queman todos los monumentos falleros incluidos los infantiles. Este acto se hace sobre las 21h las infantiles y desde las 00h hasta las 3h de la noche de san José, 19 de marzo. Se queman con un orden primero las que no han obtenido premio y después correlativamente según el premio obtenido por lo que la falla ganadora de la sección especial será la última en incendiarse. La quema suele ser así; primero las de 2ª categoría, después las de 1ª categoría y finalmente las de categoría especial, la primera en ser incendiada será, el tercer puesto, después el segundo puesto y al final el primer puesto y ganadora del año. The Fallas that haven't won a prize are burned in order first, then consecutively according to the prize won, so the winning falla of the special section will be the last to be burned. The burning usually goes like this: First, the 2nd category, then the 1st category, and finally the special category. The first to be set on fire will be third place, then second place, and finally first place and the winner of the year.
