These are clips from the BBC coverage of the 2002 Chicago Marathon. I am not sure what I was thinking, but the crowd, cameras, and atmosphere made me think that I could run with Paula Radcliffe as she set her first Marathon world record of 2:12:18 at the 2002 Chicago Marathon. My previous best in the marathon was 2:36 at the 2001 Boston Marathon. Paula dropped me at mile 11, but still help me make a 9 min PR in the marathon with a 2:27. This is an experience I will remember for my whole life.
