Djerf Avenue for a couple of years was on a very strong upwards trajectory thanks to its great customer retention plan and solid ethical marketing plan. However, while the brand has seen success mostly in Matilda Djerf's personal fan base, it actually does have a differentiator in the larger fashion scene; it's the antithesis of fast fashion. Of course, this is mostly a differentiator solely based on stock replenishment, turning a shortcoming into a positive, but much like The Body Shop or Lush before it, Djerf Avenue well congealed this into a unique point of view for the brand at large. It's great marketing and does offer the brand a tangible differentiator in the larger fashion industry. For this reason, I think Djerf Avenue is actually quite strong as a concept but it also means its biggest strength is it's biggest weakness; Matilda Djerf herself. She comes with a pre-established audience, allowing for the brand to boast financial success very early, but because it hinges on the popularity of a singular person it leaves them vulnerable to scandal. Unfortunately this is seemingly what is happening now over the last two years, but if they are able to weather it, it looks like the brand may last for longer than the average influencer or celebrity brand.
