New year, new video again, 2025! Not gonna lie, this video was meant to be part of a much bigger thing for a vid where you'd get to see the aftermaths for dying to enemies/bosses in the game through a short cutscene, when I got to writing for an amalgamate death it got way bigger and stopped just being said short cutscene, being reason as to why it's so 'out there' compared to all the rest. Looking back at this one now that it's done, realistically, there wouldn't be much of a divergence here, you'd either just die or somehow spare the amalgams and Alphys would come in, putting everything back in place for the true pacifist route-- but, also glad I pushed it to it's extreme anyway, when else would something like this even be explored otherwise? Aside from the small tangent, the ending was not clear cut at all since the idea came from the initial death scene, a few different ideas for the ending ranged from fighting Asgore and absorbing him into your mass, fighting the 'hotland squadron' mentioned on the phone, having Flowey still swoop in if the souls were shown but being unable to kill you because... well... Amalgam, absorbing all your friends in the end, ect.
