Chameleon Pens First Impression & Review & Demo Thanks to Chameleon Color Tone Pens for providing me with this sample to review. You can find out more about the pens and download the printable color charts I used here: http://shrsl.com/u76n (affiliate links used at no cost to you, thank you:) *Get free shipping on orders over $40 with code SASFS the above link is an affiliate link so I earn a small percentage of the sale, thanks for clicking my link! Here is a link of the Chameleon pens on Amazon USA: http://amzn.to/2CXC6On You can get refills for all 22 colors and the mixing chambers too (which I was not sure of when I recorded this and with only 23 bottles of refills to but it makes this system the most afforable permanent marker option because other refillable markers have a huge range of colors and refills to buy to get the amount of blends you can get with these pens. Pros: 1. Good variety of colors: 22 all with blending chamers to make lighter values 2. Takes the guess work of finding the right shades to blend. 3. Refillable ink and replaceable nibs, my set came with 10 extra nibs. 4. Smaller packs are available at a lower cost to try them out. 5. Finest tip brush nib I have ever seen on an alcohol pen. Great for stampers! Cons: 1. It is difficult to blend a large wide area, traditional alcohol pens in a variety of shades are better for that. Marker artists working on a large painting might have a hard time blending. 2. They are not available in all stores so they probably will need to be ordered online BUT you can get free shipping on the set using code SASFS at here: http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?B=661... Bottom Line, I was really happy with these. They are a bit pricey but not compared with any other art marker that is refillable. They are a high quality marker. The only downside is when trying to blend on a wide area but I think that would get easier with practice. Tips: 1. Print the worksheets and swatch out your markers. 2. Practice on a scrap of the card you plan to use, they are different than regular markers and have a slight learning curve. BTW the stamp I used is from Stampendous: Have fun & let me know what you think of these markers!
